Your email is never shown or shared. What is stored and how to leave

What is stored

  • Your email address, and the first name or nickname you give (optional).
  • Where you signed up (this blog or the NEON RUN game), the time you ticked the consent box and the exact wording you agreed to.
  • A keyed hash of your IP address, only to stop abuse. The raw IP address is not stored.

Who and where

The list belongs to Anass Kartit (kartit.net) and is used only to tell you about new posts and games. It is kept in a Cloudflare D1 database in the EU jurisdiction. Your email is never shown on the site or on the NEON RUN leaderboard, which only shows the nickname you choose.

Leaving and deleting

Every email will have an unsubscribe link that works in one click. To have your record deleted entirely, or to see what is stored about you, contact me on LinkedIn. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
